Dr. Bang, originally from Portland, Oregon, graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College with a B.A. degree in biochemistry. After college, Dr. Bang was awarded the prestigious J. William Fulbright Scholarship to teach English as a second language in South Korea. She then went on to attend Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she received her D.M.D. degree. She completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bang joined Children's Dental Associates in 2010.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Bang is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Bang volunteers and provides dental care to disadvantaged children around the world. She also enjoys traveling and has visited numerous countries throughout Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa. She currently resides in Carlisle, Massachusetts with her husband and their two children.
